Based in Buxton, our team have been providing industry-leading IT and computer services and solutions for over two decades.

Since the company was formed in 1998 by owner and Director Mark Stow, our team has grown to include six full time members of staff and we now provide IT support and services to over 200 customers across the North West including Buxton, Derbyshire, Stockport, South Manchester and Cheshire.

Our team have over 50 years combined experience in the IT sector and have developed an unmatched level of skill and expertise in their field.

From onsite IT support, server installation and commercial WiFi for businesses through to Windows support and computer repairs for individuals, we offer a complete range of services that can improve the security and workflow of businesses and enhance the online and digital experience for users whether they are employees working from home or families looking to improve their WiFi to watch the latest blockbuster on Netflix.

We have come a long way since we started out in 1998 and we are excited to see where the ever-changing digital landscape takes us and our customers next.

Meet the brains behind the business

Mark Stow
Mark is the Director/Owner of Upland Systems Ltd. He started the business in 1998 and has been helping businesses with IT support ever since. Mark comes from an engineering and problem solving background, initially in the Quarrying industry.

Liam Bradshaw
Liam joined Upland Systems Ltd in 2015 and completed his Level 3 and 4 Apprenticeship in Network Engineering and ICT Professional Competence.

David Gaskell
Dave is a Network Engineer who joined the Company in 2013. He started out in the computer support industry in 1983.

Areas of expertise:
- General Engineering – Wireman/Fitter
- Early days MS-DOS, Multi User DOS, Windows etc

- Qualified with Institute of Production Management.
- Quality Assurance – BS 5750-0.1 Certification schemes
- Quality Assurance – ISO 9001 Certification schemes

James is one of our Network Engineers who joined the company in 2007.

Tom is one of our Network Engineers who started with the company in 2013. Prior to this, Tom ran the IT for a large multi site construction company. Tom specialises in software development and has website experience.
